Saujana Damansara was first launched in 2001 as a residential and commercial development by Talam through Maxisegar Sdn Bhd. Planned across approximately 106 acres, the development introduced a mix of homes and commercial properties that would later form part of a much broader residential community.

More than two decades on, Saujana Damansara has developed well beyond its original launch years.

Today, residents have access to a wide range of everyday amenities within Taman Saujana Damansara and the surrounding Damansara Damai area. Food and beverage options include local Chinese, Malay and mamak restaurants, cafés, MIXUE, ZUS Coffee, Pizza Hut and KFC. Grocery and convenience options include KK Super Mart, 99 Speedmart, Hero Market, Econsave Damansara Damai, FamilyMart and local mini markets.

The wider area is also supported by clinics, pharmacies, laundry services, car washes, hair salons and barbershops, small offices, banking facilities and a Shell station.

Educational facilities include ASIA College Damansara Damai, as well as primary and secondary schools in the vicinity. There are also community and specialist services, including Logos Presbyterian Church and the Korean Hand Acupuncture Centre.
