When Lestari Putra was first developed, the surrounding areas of southern Klang Valley looked very different from the interconnected urban corridor that exists today.
Over time, the growth of Puchong, Bukit Jalil, Seri Kembangan, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya has placed Lestari Putra within reach of several major residential, commercial, educational and employment centres.
That wider growth has become an important part of the neighbourhood’s story.
Situated within the Bandar Putra Permai and Seri Kembangan growth corridor, Lestari Putra occupies a location that provides access in several directions.
To the north are Bukit Jalil, Technology Park Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur.
To the west are Puchong, Bandar Kinrara and USJ.
To the east are Seri Kembangan, The Mines and Universiti Putra Malaysia, while to the south are Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and IOI City Mall.
Road connectivity has played a significant role in supporting that accessibility.
Residents in the wider area are served by major routes including the Lebuhraya Damansara–Puchong (LDP), Maju Expressway (MEX) and the Sungai Besi corridor, providing connections across the southern Klang Valley.
More recently, public transport infrastructure has added another dimension to the area’s accessibility.
The MRT Putrajaya Line, including the nearby Putra Permai and Taman Equine MRT stations, has improved rail connectivity within the wider Bandar Putra Permai area, complemented by feeder services serving surrounding neighbourhoods.
The result is a location that today sits within a significantly more developed regional network than when the township first took shape.
This is one of the characteristics of mature developments: while the township itself becomes established, the city continues growing around it.
New roads emerge. Public transport expands. Employment centres develop. Retail and education clusters become established.
And gradually, a location that was once viewed primarily in terms of its immediate surroundings becomes part of a much larger urban network.
For Lestari Putra, its proximity to several important growth centres has become one of the defining features of its position today.
